For our Self-Portrait project we were to take three self-portraits. They were all to be in black and white, and they were all to capture a mood of some sort. We were also challenged to be as artistic as possible, and stay as far away from normal, cliche portraits that we see on personal pages etc. as possible. One had to use the rule of thirds as the base for the composition; One had to incorporate leading lines, and one had to be taken from a more extreme angle.
I had a lot for fun doing this project, because Ernie and I took pictures out side of school. So it made it a lot more fun rather than doing it in school. Right after school last thursday we both went to get dinner and went to his house to take our self portraits. What made it alittle easier was Ernie's backyard was beautiful with nice backgrounds and many different leading lines.
My most successful portrait would have to be my exteme anlge. It's kind of wierd becaue Ernie and I seem to take really nice pictures even when we aren't even trying. The next time I would like to take it at a more EXTREME angle, maybe get alittle lower. overall I am very pround of the work Ernie and I did.
